Trends of The Day

From manga artist Tite Kubo comes the story of a world where death lurks impalpable to an everyday human's eyes. Ichigo Kurosaki, along with his family, runs a local clinic. Ichigo has the unusual ability to see poltergeists but rather than react with surprise he merely sees it as an annoyance. Ichigo helps those when he cares but can't bring himself to care enough... until one fateful day. A small, mysterious woman appears on duty inside his room, a Soul Reaper known as Rukia.

Soon enough Ichigo and Rukia get formal in the oddest of ways and in such untimely matter the losses begin. The Kurosaki family is soon attacked. This leads Ichigo on his first step to accepting the role and responsibility's a Soul Reaper must uphold.

Characters:

Ichigo Kurosaki- Ichigo could see ghosts for as long as he could remember. To save his life and protect his family from a Hollow, Rukia decides to transfer half of her Soul Reaper powers to him. But because he has strong spiritual powers, he ends up with virtually all of her powers. He must now take on the role of a Soul Reaper.

Rukia Kuchiki- Rukia is a Soul Reaper from the Soul Society. After transfering her powers to Ichigo she has become very weak and must hide herself in human form.

Yasutoro "Chad" Sado- Chad is one of Ichigo's friends. He is the strong and silent type. He has spiritual powers in the form of a sheild covering his whole right arm.

Orihime Inoue- She is a friend of Ichigo. She is very sweet and kind. Her spiritual powers are in the form of 6 fairy like beings called the Shun Shun Rikka.

Kisuke Urahara- He is the manager of a store that specializes in spiritual goods. He is a very mysterious person. Once he accidentally sold a mod soul to Rukia.

Kon- Kon is a modified soul created by the soul society to fight Hollows. He has some amazing powers. When he was inserted into Ichigo's body he decided to explore the human world. Currently he resides in a stuffed lion and sometimes fills in for Ichigo when needed.

Renji Ararai- Renji is the vice captain of the Soul Society's sixth division. He is also a childhood friend of Rukia.
