Yesterday, my webcam have a problem. At first i thought is just the software that crash & i only can reinstall it, but it's way out of my expectation. It's just now the software that crash itself but the whole registry key was modified. I was surprise when i check that some of my registry key has been missing.

I used logitech webcam. So, i open a ticket & submit it with their support department. But i couldn't hold any longer. I just searching myself to explaination on how to repair the damage. After a while, i found a solution & this is what i've done:

1. Firstly, i download the appropriate software that support my webcam driver which is now version 11.5 here. You have to select yourself if you have different kind of webcam.
2. Then, i uninstall the last software. If u want to uninstall it u can go to control panel>Add or remove program.
3. I clean up my registry key with all the logitech is the key. All of them. (This is the the hardest part because u don't wanna messing your key here, if u do messing it, u might not able to start your computer).
4. After that go to run type msconfig, go to general tab & uncheck the Process SYSTEM.INI file & uncheck Process SYSTEM.INI file.
5. Go to startup tab, uncheck the unnessesary program that boot when your computer start.

• Don't restart pc just yet. Now u have to go to registry. Go to run, type regedit. This u have to do it carefullt because u about to input the registry data. The registry key sez is

6. After that, restart your pc. Installed the appropriate software & driver and it's done.

Tips: If u have a problem install a software, first thing u gonna do is go to run, type %windir%\setupapi.log. There u can see what is the error might occur.

It's look simple but as u know, i spend a lot of time to find this, after several time reinstall, install, i don't know, i lost track how many times i doing this. But, finally; i've did repair & solved my problem.
